Why do most of us believe in paranormal things? In this age of technology and scientific advancements, to believe in paranormal stuff seems kind of odd. But the fact is they are immensely popular with us so-called modern men. There are so many T.V shows, movies, books, magazines and websites all dedicated to paranormal things. Since the beginning of times, humans have been fascinated to the unknown, unbelievable, unexplainable. It appears that the interests or rather the happenings of different strange stuff had its time. Witch hunt was popular back in the 15th to 18th century. Next is UFO around the First and Second World War. At the end the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, it was spiritualism or communication with the spirits.
All these while, there have been countless attempts to prove or disprove ghosts, UFOs, ESP, telepathy, conversations with the spirit world and other unexplained phenomenon. No one has actually produced definite answers or solid proofs to any of these mysteries. We have heard so many theories about the paranormal things, but yet none is considered definitive. It is because of this uncertainty that keep the interests in those unbelievable mysteries alive by all the wild speculations and rumors. Most of us might not admit openly they believe or rather have interests in this out of the ordinary stuff. But they would discreetly listen to the strange stories of ghosts, vampires and UFOs. I think none of us can really escape the speculations that surround the paranormal stories. The three explanations given in a report why people believe in paranormal. The first reason is they might really have experienced the paranormal. Secondly, they might be making it up. Thirdly, there is a possibility of misinterpreting perfectly normal events; they are suffering from what they call a paranormal illusion.
