Paul Orberson, A Network Marketing Legend Whose Record Still Stands-For Now

You have all heard of the ?greats? out there in the network marketing industry. I would like to take you back a about 20 years to the early 90?s when Paul Orberson, an industry legend, was known as the man with a record to beat. He is a giant in the MLM industry and has yet to have anyone beat his record of making the most amount of money in the shortest amount of time in the network marketing industry. Paul grew up in Kentucky and was making a living as an educator and coach. He enjoyed his profession, but didn?t enjoy how he couldn?t meet his financial needs very well. He even tried a few side jobs like painting houses. Still, to him, it wasn?t enough. Paul was dragged to a meeting by close friend at his school and he didn?t want to be the only person who DIDN?T join that night, so he joined Excel Communications, a telecommunication company who used network marketing as a means to get their name out there.

Now, it didn?t happen for him right away. Actually, he did absolutely NOTHING with this business for about 18 months. Realizing that all his friends were now starting to make a decent profit from Excel, he again, didn?t want to be left in the dust. With hard work, drive, and determination, in under a 4 year period, Paul was willing to do what it took to get the job done. He didn?t depend on others to see him to the top, and he spent a lot of lonely nights on the road. With this, he found his great success and to this point, an unbeatable record. He was the first ever to make over 1 million dollars a MONTH for over 20 consecutive months. When Excel decided to go public, Paul made his exit as he felt that they had sold out on all the reps that had made their success possible. He even donated his final check to his church. This was all before the age of 40. 4 years into retirement, Paul?s conscious got the best of him. When he realized his biggest concern throughout the day was where he would have dinner that night, he gathered a few trusted members from his old Excel team and built his own network marketing company. In 2001 he founded his own telecommunications company, Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing (FHTM). Through his great connections and relationship building he has masterfully partnered with big name companies: DISH Network, AT&T, Verizon Wireless, and GE Security as well, he created his own nutritional line, True Essentials after a serious bout of cancer that almost took his life. Now, Fortune Hi Tech Marketing has over 150,000 representatives throughout North America and some of the top money earners in the MLM Industry. Making money, starting a MLM company, and making sure it is successful for his reps is what Paul Orberson is all about. Even though Paul has seen massive success thousands of Fortune Hi Tech Marketing consultants are not duplicating his model. All, in all, Paul?s model of success definitely works for some, and at the time was the ONLY way to do network marketing. However, today in the era of the computer and social networking, this model is becoming harder and harder to generate serious income. The days of home meetings and hotel meetings are quickly becoming a thing of the past. So do I think Paul?s record will get beaten? Yes, with the tools on the internet and the fast way to get information to the masses and with a truly unique opportunity, I think that he can be beat. ?Word of mouth? is now more like ?word by computer? now. We are all islands and the persons who learn how to connect those islands to the continents will win.
